Duplicate paste from Clipboard Catcher

Hi there -- Is anyone else getting duplicate pasting from the Clipboard Catcher? Two copies of the selected text are copied/pasted into the current topic. -- Glen

Hi.

Nothing (as long as we know) has been changed in clipboard catcher code. Is it happening always? Could you provide a sequence of actions so we can reproduce it here?

Problem seems to have corrected itself. It must have been a conflict with another program that I had running at the time. Sorry for bothering you.

I have this error on 3.1.0.6.

I use Google Chrome for browsing and selecting text from this forum and copy it makes a clipboard1 topic with the text pasted in it. Just one time. I have set CT to create a numbered topic for each copy action.

When I do the same from Evernote 2.2 it makes three clipboard topic and paste the text in each of these three topics. It does that everytime.

Copying from Outlook also works OK. It might be something that has to do with Evernote. Which is a pity as I am converting a lot of info from Evernote 2.2 to ConnectedText.

gcoulthard : have you been using Evernote 2.2 when the problem arose on your system?

We don't have Evernote here. I will look for a trial version and try to reproduce the problem you describe.

Yes, I was using Evernote 2.2, but I've since moved to Evernote 3 (and actually using 3.5 Beta right now).

I haven't seen this problem in version 3+.

I tried upgrading to the Evernote 3.5 beta but the problem is still there. I have tried with the CT making a new clipboard topic with numbering and with making a clipboard date-time topic for each copy action. Still the same.

When I let CT append to a clipboard topic the same result. But not multiple topics but the copied text repeated 4 times.

I have a work-around by exporting Evernote 3.5 to HTML file and copy from there. That works fine. I have only experienced this with Evernote and not with other programs so it need not to be solved as far as I am concerned. I guess you are busy enough with 4.0 ....

Perhaps the problem don't even exist anymore. We made a lot of changes in CT.
