xml export/import: unicode problem with topic titles

I'm using 4.0.0.4. When I export to XML, and then reimport, topics that originally had "umlaute" (such as ä,ö.ü) in their title are created as new topics with mangled titles. The topic content does not show this problem. When I look at the XML file, the topic titles are still good, so I guess there must be something wrong with the import function. Should be reproducable by creating a new project, creating a new topic with a title such as "Überflüssig", exporting to XML and importing from XML.

(Btw. I want to use the export/import for external search and replace as a work-around for updating "categorized links" such as [[Parent:=Topic Title]] when renaming topics, as previously posted under "Suggestions".)

Problem found and fixed. It will be available in version 4.0.0.6
