When a LaTeX formula is included is the background always white? or is it transparent.

In other words if you have changed the background to a colour will the formulae be in little white boxes?
This seems to be the case, whereas transparent would be better.

It is transparent so you can freely change the background color in ypur css file.

Thanks. I have now tried changing the .css for the whole project and that works.

Before I was using inline styles which gives white boxes. I would like to be able
to use inline styles and have that change the background with a TeX formula
included in the line.

Here's something that works for now:

||%%background-color=#ff0000%% <% TeX \infty %> out ||

But I cannot make this inline and it always has a thin frame (.css-dependent?)
Check the TeX documentation, I remember there's something on font and background colors within it.

Regards,
